As far as i'm concerned I feel that our education system is falling behind in our worlds technology.  To be more specific in classes such as english and even most of our tech courses i feel that there is too much pencil and paper work.  Now don't get me wrong, I think that it is very important to have writing skills.  However most of the work that students are handing in these days was done on a computer.  For example things like essays, projects, letters etc... most of these things are being handed in typed up our portrayed  as a power point or other type of technology.  I think that each student should be assigned a laptop and that would be there "binder".  More classes should be like the Futures Forum although the class isn't much to do with the future its mostly just incorporating todays technology into education.  More classes should be like this, I find school way more fun and unique rather than just sitting down and writing with a pencil.  Also if this were to happen in the future textbook companies could make apps instead of having to carry around a heavy textbook you would just have the app on your laptop.

I fully a agree with sir Ken Robinson on the idea that schools kill creativity because when everyone is child they have a crazy imagination.  Well along the lines of you growing up some of us lose this imagination and most peoples just start to decrease.  One of the reasons for this in my opinion is that we learn to listen to who's in charge.  For example your teacher, often teachers will assign a project and give you what your supposed to do, how to do it, and a certain way for it to be presented.  Well wheres the creativity in that?  If instead the teacher asked you to be creative and use your imagination than there would be 20 different students portraying there ideas of what the presentation should look like.  In the big picture our society is built around "the man".  The man being a boss, a teacher, a leader of government, now don't get me wrong we do need all these people in order for the world to be functional and not out of control.  However we are told that we are going to work our buts off for our 60 years of our life's and than we get the rest to retire and have the freedom we have been always waiting for.  Now how does creativity fit into that?  If someone told a 7 year old that they are going to grow up work every day to make money feed your family and pay taxes than retire and be old, I think that the child will have a much different picture on what life will be like when he/she grows up.
